A series of seminars, workshops, community dialogues, sharing opportunities, and information exchanges designed to deepen our understanding of what dramaturgy is and how it can best serve new play development, including the dramaturgical support of contemporary theatrical forms and creation methodologies.
In the last five years, MAP’s adhoc team of dramaturgs has grown to over 20 individuals (and counting!) who provide targeted dramaturgical services for MAP’s members and the playwriting community at large. MAP has and will continue to diversify our ad hoc team to best serve the diversity of our theatre creators, and to expand our communal investigation to production, design, digital, and translation dramaturgy.
