MAP's Vaccination & COVID Policies

Manitoba Association of Playwrights - Vaccination Policy

MAP’s Vaccination Policy for artists, guests, and staff participating in on-site, in-person MAP activities

Under the current orders in Manitoba, people attending indoor theatrical performances must be fully vaccinated (which includes artists, staff, and crew). The Manitoba Association of Playwrights is extending this requirement to our on-site, in-person workshops and activities.

Our vaccination policy will entail two steps of enquiry -

1) Have you been double vaccinated?  Please note that you are not obligated to disclose this information.  If you choose not to share or the answer is ‘no’, we would discuss what this means and how to proceed.  If you do disclose to us and you are double vaccinated, we will ask you to provide your proof of immunization.

2) If you are double vaccinated, are you comfortable participating in an in-person workshop or activity in MAP’s facilities under these policy requirements? If the answer is ‘no’, we would discuss what this means and how to proceed.

MAP’s Vaccination Policy for Those using MAP’s Facilities (Renters, Resident Companies, etc.)

MAP’s Vaccination Policy applies to all individuals who are on MAP’s premises as a result of their association with a renter, a resident company, or any group using MAP’s facilities. Such groups and organizations will be required to collect proof of vaccination from their participants, and provide written confirmation to MAP that you’ve fulfilled this requirement.
