For the Harry S. Rintoul Memorial Award for best new Manitoba play at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival
The Harry S. Rintoul Memorial Award was established by MAP in 2002 in honour of Manitoba playwright and founding Artistic Director of Theatre Projects Manitoba, Harry S. Rintoul.
In order to be eligible for this award:
1. The play must have been written by a Manitoba resident.
2. The play must be an original script. Adaptations, stand-up, improvisation, and sketch comedy are not eligible.
3. It must be a first production. It may have had a public reading/public workshop, but the 2018 Fringe production must be a premiere.
4. Entries must be submitted by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16th, 2018 (opening week of the Fringe).
The Harry S. Rintoul Memorial Award is a juried competition. The winner will receive $500.00. The award will be presented on the final evening of the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
To submit your play for consideration, all you need to do is send a request by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:

Content of email: Title of play, venue, and dates/times of performances.
There is no entry fee. You will receive a reply confirming your entry.
