With a generous donation from The Winnipeg Foundation, MAP's collection of Manitoba Theatre Posters has been catalogued and archived, with 20 selected posters dry mounted and displayed in the Rory Runnells Studio - Room 504, and the Jarvis Centre Library and Archive - Room 602, 100 Arthur Street. The remaining 150+ posters in the collection are being displayed in 15 acrylic frames, on a rotating basis.
The MAP web site has been completely redesigned, with a focus on promoting the work of Manitoba Playwrights, with news of upcoming workshops, MAP's Open Door readings, photo gallery and events of interest to the Manitoba theatre community.
Our long serving monthly Ellipsis... in-print newsletter, has been redesigned and reissued as a weekly electronic E...-Bulletin, emailed to members, theatre companies and subscribers, every Wednesday afternoon. E...-Bulletin now contains up-to-the-minute news important to Manitoba Playwrights: events, workshops, performances, calls for submission, resource & administrative information, our "Members Shameless Self-Promotion" page, a Manitoba Theatre Calendar, as well as submissions from Manitoba and Canadian theatre companies and playwright centres.
