Governor General's Award winning playwright Vern Thiessen will lead a seminar on Saturday, October 19, from 11 am to 5 pm, on the topic: "A Road Map to Creativity."

How does a playwright get from a first play to the tenth? Is it luck, life experience or skill that leads a playwright to create a meaningful body of work? How does creativity in a playwright develop? Why do some playwrights burn bright and burn out young, while others bloom late? Using his own work as example (both failures and successes) Vern will lead a lively discussion about how you can build a map to creativity and success.
