Synopsis: This is a chancel drama. Charles Wesley tells the story of the Methodist revival and the founding of the Methodist Church. The play contains a number of Charles Wesley's hymns that can be performed by a choir, and with some congregational singing.

History: Charles Wesley was first performed on October 28, 1990 at Crestview United Church with Ken Delisle in the role of Charles Wesley, the Crestview choir (with some additions) and Rev. Don Ross on the organ.

Since then it has been performed at a number of churches and conferences around the world.
